What did you say? Florida vs Carlton

Tommy Carlton asks a buddy to whack his ex-wife. The friend declines but puts him in touch with a real 'hitman', which is fortunate as that 'hitman' was a cop. Long story short, this dimwit asks for his wife to be killed and the cops show him a fake picture of his wife with a gunshot in her forehead to which he responds: "SWEET!!"

It WAS Sweet when Tommy got sentenced to 22 years + psych evals + probation despite his whining and complaining how he was left with nothing now and how his only crime was having a drug problem and asking someone to 'scare his wife' blah, blah, blah.

What is NOT so sweet was the large number of trial followers who felt that because the police provided a fake 'hitman', that they were, in a sense, entrapping him. Chew on this 22 year old gobstopper, Tommy, its a crime to ask people to hurt other people and you have to take the consequences and how you could talk on and on about your love for your son really sounds strange considering you thought it was cool to have his mother hurt.

Suicide Bombers of Mars

Cool title, huh? Can you guess what this post is about? Well, to be consistent with the title of this blog, I should have said "Suicide Bombers of Ares" because Ares was the Greek god of war. But since Mars is his Roman name, it was just much more interesting. But in this case I am using "Mars" to represent not only war, but male aggression, the need to dominate and destroy other things. In short, I am talking about the rampant incidents of men hunting down and killing women simply so that "no one else can have them". Its all over the news, hardly a week goes by when some wife, mother, girlfriend, community activist, teacher is hunted/killed by her 'ex' or simply goes "missing". In the usual turn of events, it will take weeks or more before the body is found. One guy claimed that he and his pregnant wife had a fight so he let her out of the car on a deserted country road to walk home. Not his fault, he "let her out of the car".

Another guy took his small children out into the woods to go camping in the single digit temperatures of Utah winter on the night his wife disappeared. Think I am kidding, here is the link.Missing Stockbroker Susan Powell. And no body, no crime yet, so he is still free and raising their kids. Just what she would have wanted I am sure. Here is an update, now the father-in-law says that the missing woman flirted with him and had a sexual relationship. So now the missing mother is a slut too.

In many cases, these guys are martyrs for all that is wrong with masculinity, there are last chance attempts to "teach a lesson" to women who think they can make it through life without the man whose sperm was used to create their children. Unfortunately, many of these guys are not even martyred, many of them just simply get away with it. I should call them Assassins of Ares instead.

The media loves to cover these cases, as long as the missing/dead woman is blonde and/or a beauty queen. Sadly, they are not interested at all in stemming the flow of hate-killings against women.

I dont know the solution Ladies. Sadly, I think you have to be even MORE careful of the guys you date and more proactive to any kind of agression on their part.

In the same day that I wrote thsi post, yet another woman goes missing. Jeezus.
